What can you choose from us?

We have a selection of Ashley Craig Greyhound Coatmasters, which we are incredibly happy with ourselves. We use these coatmasters ourselves and therefore have no doubt about the quality. We are absolutely sure that you can only be happy with them. They fit well in your hands, are neat and come in the best quality. Their handles are made of wood, which is covered with a satin finish, which makes it water-repellent. This is especially good for those of you who want to use them when the dog is wet. They are also made of stainless steel, so you can be sure that they will last a long time.

What is coatmaster?

Coatmasters have many small, sharp and round teeth that are set close together. They are most often used to remove the undercoat. They can be used on both wet and dry fur. When using a coatmaster, it is important that you always do it in the direction of the hair growth. Always use a coatmaster with wide gaps between the teeth first and work downwards to closer teeth. This way you remove less and less hair. Coatmasters work best on dry fur or when washing with wet fur. However, you need to be careful when using a coatmaster. On some fur types, especially dogs with thick fur, it can cut the top layer while removing the undercoat. Even though the teeth are round, you still shouldn't put too much pressure on them so that you don't damage the dog's skin. You should therefore be careful when using coatmasters on the sensitive areas with thin skin around the hocks, ears, flanks and armpits.
